35. Duties of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
It is the duty of the Director of Public Prosecutions1:
- 听
(1)听听听听 to take over the conduct of all criminal proceedings2, other than specified proceedings3, instituted4 on behalf of a police force5 (whether by a member of that force or by any other person)6;
- 听
(2)听听听听 to take over the conduct of any criminal proceedings instituted by an immigration officer7 acting in his capacity as such an officer8;
- 听
(3)听听听听 to take
