Section 78 Written information, notices and directions

(1)聽聽聽聽 This section applies where provision made by or under this Act鈥�
(a)聽聽聽聽 requires information to be given to a person in writing,
(b)聽聽聽聽 requires a written notice to be given to a person, or
(c)聽聽聽聽 requires or authorises a direction to be given to a person.
(2)聽聽聽聽 The information, notice or direction may be given to the person鈥�
(a)聽聽聽聽 by delivering it to the person,
(b)聽聽聽聽 by leaving it at the person's proper address,
(c)聽聽聽聽 by sending it by post to the person's proper address, or
(d)聽聽聽聽 if the condition in subsection (3) is met, by sending it electronically to the person's proper address,
