Taxpayers in Mexico must also submit a monthly informative VAT return which sets out details of transactions with suppliers and the input VAT paid. This gives SAT a clear picture of how the input VAT is spread across those transactions.
This return is known in Mexico as the 'informative declaration of transactions with third parties'
