Travel agents margin scheme (Republic of Ireland)

Ireland operates a special margin scheme for travel agents and tour operators, as required by the Principal VAT Directive.

The scheme, which is known as the travel agents margin scheme (TAMS), applies to travel agents (acting as principals) or undisclosed agents established in Ireland who supply travel packages.

Use of the scheme is compulsory
