9.1ÌýÌýÌýÌý Work permits

A 'third' country is a country that does not belong to the European Union, the European Economic Area and other than Switzerland. From 1 January 2021 the rules applying to 'third' countries for the posting of workers to Poland, also apply to those being posted from the UK.

Foreign employees posted to Poland from third countries must have a work permit type C, D or E.

Work PermitDetail
CA type C work permit should be obtained by a third-country national delegated to perform work temporarily in Poland by an enterprise established in a third country for a period exceeding 30 days in a calendar year to a branch or plant of a foreign entity or an entity related to the foreign employer.
DA type D work permit should be obtained by a third-country national directed to work in Poland to provide a temporary and occasional service as delegate
EA type E work permit should be granted to a third-country national posted to Poland for a period exceeding 30 days within
