An employment contract can be signed:

•ÌýÌýÌýÌý for an indefinite term (umowa na czas nieokreÅ“lony)
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý for a fixed term (umowa na czas okreÅ“lony)
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý for a probationary period no more than three months (umowa na okres próbny)
Once a third subsequent fixed-term contract is signed, it is deemed to have become an indefinite term contract.
