Where a Swedish employer intends to employ a non-EU national, additional specific conditions must be satisfied:

•ÌýÌýÌýÌý the position must have been advertised by the employer for at least ten days in Sweden and the rest of the EU (The Swedish Public Employment Service and the EU's EURES jobs portal, would generally be used to help satisfy this condition)
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý if the position has not been able to be filled by an EU national, the employer may then offer the job to a non-EU national
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý the terms of the contract and level of pay, must be equal to, or better than, those provided under an applicable Swedish collective bargaining agreement, or by custom and practice in the relevant industry
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý the minimum gross monthly pay must be SEK 27,360 from November 2023, and SEK 34,200 from 1 June 2025 (Swedish Migration Agency)
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý the employer must provide an occupational pension, health and life insurance
