It may be possible to visit the UK for up to six months to conduct limited business activities, without needing a visa. There is an online tool which allows an individual to determine if they need a visa to come to the UK.
Visas for work are broadly divided into short and long-term visas which are issued according to the purpose or skills of the applicant. Note that almost all visas will require sponsorship from a UK sponsor, and other eligibility criteria will need to be met. Details of all visas and sponsorship are available at GOV.UK.
Extension to visas may be possible.
