The process for dissolution of a marital or quasi-marital relationship in Israel depends upon the type of relationship and is separate and apart from ancillary issues relating to the dissolution of the relationship, such as property division and custody. These ancillary issues must be addressed each within a separately filed suit. This applies equally regardless of the specific type of recognized relationship.
