IS2.5.4 International divorce and reciprocity in Israel

Pursuant to the Israeli Rules of Private International Law, if either party to a foreign divorce is resident in the State of Israel at the time of the divorce, a foreign court does not have jurisdiction to issue any orders relating to the divorce other than the civil divorce status.
