The local currency in the United States is the US Dollar (USD).

Currently, there are no United States restrictions related to United States currency.

US3.3.1ÌýÌýÌýÌý Transportation of currency

An individual may bring into the United States or take out of the United States, an unlimited amount of money. However, where the amount exceeds USD10,000, the individual will need to report it to the US Customs and Boarder Protection (CBP).
