China labour law allows employees to take certain types of paid or partially paid leaves below:

•ÌýÌýÌýÌý sick leave
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý marriage leave
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý maternity
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý baby feeding leave
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý paternity
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý funeral leave

A brief outline of some of the key absences is outlined below.
Paid annual leave
Based on Art 3 of the above Regulation, employees are entitled for paid annual leave after they have continuously worked for more than 12 months. The number of years working for the same or different employer shall be added accumulatively.
The employee works for | Annual leave entitlement |
One full year but less than 10 years | 10 days |
Above 10 years but less than 20 years | 10 days |
Above 20 years | 15 days |
The unused paid annual leave for current year can be used by the year-end or carried forward
