8.1ÌýÌýÌýÌý Employer non-compliance
Failure to comply with the employment and withholding requirements under the law is considered a criminal offence in Israel. An employer in Israel who does not comply with the employment or withholding requirements under the Israeli law may be subject to criminal prosecution or civil liabilities, including financial penalties.
Foreign employers of employees in Israel have the same exposure.
