Definitions per the Social Security Law
'The insured' is the natural person to whom the provisions of this law apply, whether male or female.
'Hazardous occupations' are occupations that lead to harm to the health or life of the insured because of exposure to dangerous factors or conditions in the work environment despite the application of occupational safety and health conditions and standards.
Mandatory coverage, including expats
It is mandatory to cover the insured within the provisions of the law, regardless of the nature or duration of their work and their contract type and regardless of the nature of the wage, title, method of payment or the mechanism of its calculation.
