9.1ÌýÌýÌýÌý Work permits
Kenyan work permits for foreign nationals are issued to employers by the Directorate of Immigration Services (DIS) and obtained online via the Foreign National Service portal eFNS. Links here.
Work permit classes for employees are based on their activities as below.
Class A: Prospecting and mining industries.
Class B: For individuals in agriculture or animal husbandry.
Class C: Members of certain professions.
Class D: Individuals offered specific employment with skills and qualifications not available in Kenya
Class F: Specified manufacturing activities.
Class G: Employees in certain trades, businesses, consultancy roles, and professions.
