Employees and their employers have a further obligation to make contributions to the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC). For employees, the value of the levy is included within the PAYE calculation and is built into the PAYE tables, so there is no requirement for a separate calculation or to show a separate deduction on the payslip.
For employers, the levy is paid annually, the value being determined by both the total employees' earned income and the industry
