2.1.10 Payroll donations to charitable organisations

Where an employee wishes to make a charitable donation directly from their pay, they are entitled to receive a tax credit, by way of reducing the amount of taxable earnings in the pay period in which the donation was made. The value of the reduction is determined as being equivalent to 33.33% of the donation.
