2022 rates of income assessed produced a gender pay gap of 9.2%, as reported by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), defined as being the difference between median earnings of men and women relative to median earnings of men. Despite the data reporting a recent downward trend, the current rate of 9.2% shows an upturn from the reported rates of 4.6% in 2020 and 6.7% in 2021.
