Separation pay
Labour Code, Arts 298, 299 enable an employee to claim separation pay if their contract is ended due to redundancy or illness which prevents employment. Under Art 297, an employee terminated for just cause (serious misconduct, fraud, etc) is generally not entitled to separation pay.
