As detailed in 3.1, workers become entitled to two weeks of paid annual vacation leave, on completion of 12 months continuous service. Collective bargaining agreements, however, may advocate for more favourable terms.
It is expected that where the employment ends, an employee can expect to be remunerated for any annual vacation leave days accrued, at the time of termination of their contract.
Workers are generally entitled to full pay on the 14 public holidays scheduled throughout the year.
