With the exception of CARICOM nationals holding a Certificate of Recognition of Caribbean Community Skills Qualification, and Canadian nationals, all other foreign nationals must apply for a work permit to work in Trinidad and Tobago.
However, where the period of work, or work-related activities, occurs only once in a 12-month period, and last less than 30 days, a work permit is not required.
