Residence permit
The residence permit is ruled by:
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý Law 68-7 dated 8 March 1968 relating to foreigners' situation in Tunisia
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý Decree 68-198 dated 22 June 1968 relating to the entrance and stay of foreigners in Tunisia as amended by Decree 1992-716 dated 20 April 1992

When staying in Tunisia for a period exceeding three months, foreign citizens should submit an application for a residence permit (Law 7 of 1968 relating to foreigners' situation in Tunisia, Art 9). The application should be filed before the Ministry of the Interior along with the following documents:
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý an employment contract approved by the Ministry of employment or a certificate issued by the Ministry of Employment attesting that the employment contract is not subjected to such approval
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý a copy of the statutes of the company as well as a copy of the legal announcement of its setting up in the official gazette
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý accommodation's evidence
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý a copy of their passport
