2.3.1ÌýÌýÌýÌý Workplace pensions and end of service benefits
Pensions provided by the GPSSA to both male and female Emiratis. Similarly, the ADRPF provides pensions for Abu Dhabi Emiratis. (2.2.)

Voluntary Savings Scheme
It is also possible for employers to offer 'The Savings Scheme'. This is a voluntary and alternative end of service benefits scheme for employers of UAE nationals and expatriate workers working under full-time contracts and other types of work arrangements in the UAE private sector, including free zones.
Employers who wish to participate need to send a request to MOHRE and invest in an SCA approved investment fund. Employers can offer the savings scheme to select groups of employees should they wish to.
Employers contribute the following:

•ÌýÌýÌýÌý 5.83% of basic salary for each month, for employees with less than five years of service
- Ìý
•ÌýÌýÌýÌý 8.33% of basic salary for each month, for employees with five years or more of service
