Roel Staes

Past General Counsel International, FedEx Express

Until recently, Roel Staes was Senior Vice-President of Legal and General Counsel for International Operations at FedEx. He managed legal, regulatory, compliance, and government affairs for FedEx Express in Europe, Canada, Latin America, Africa and Asia. He became Head of Sustainability for Europe in June 2023, while continuing as General Counsel. Roel studied law at the Universities of Leuven and Antwerp, holds a diploma in aviation law and an MBA from Henley Business School.
