712. Duties of the appropriate national authority.

By virtue of its duty to continue the promotion of a comprehensive health service under the National Health Service Act 2006 and National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006, the appropriate national authority¹ is ultimately responsible for providing or securing those mental health services which form part of the national health service².
